About the extra lucky Podcast

Jess Quarello and Taryn Lagonigro co-founded the Extra Lucky Moms (ELM) brand in 2021 to provide education, community, inspiration and hope to the disability community. What started as a small community of two, formed out of their own need for connection, has now become the largest inclusive platform in the disability community.
Jess & Taryn have a passion for bringing the beauty of a disability to life, while acknowledging that some days can still be a challenge. They want to show the world what it means to be extra lucky and inspire those outside the disability community to create a more inclusive world. They are determined to have the hard conversations, change narratives and change lives.
Inspiring Change Through Conversations
At the heart of this podcast is a co-host team rooted in deep friendship. Tapping into their vast knowledge, dynamic personalities and the fact that they are besties who always find the fun, Jess Quarello and Taryn Lagonigro, are launching the Extra Lucky Podcast in Spring 2024. Jess and Taryn, co-founders of the ELM brand, seek to provide an additional resource to their community through this platform. They posesses deep connections within the disability community and are committed to inspiring those outside the disability community to create a more inclusive world.
The Extra Lucky Podcast will allow Jess and Taryn a broader way to shift perspectives, start conversations and make change in this community through connection, advocacy and conversation.
This podcast will be just like the individuals within the disability community - multi-faceted, bold and a whole lot of FUN! We’ll be breaking down important topics, interviewing change-makers and inspiring caregivers in this community to live their best selves.
